This looks pretty neat if these features are in the game (eg. missile tracking) will VU be able to "unleash" them?

If it has these features in your video, it probably has them in this one. Just no one is playing on the server because it's local. NF said that the Native Spectator Mode is really powerful, and as such, it would most likely be one of the main reasons why people come over to Venice - to film Machinimas or in general clips to fit their montages/edits/whatever.
