I really don't know why he couldn't share these little things with us on his blog, or on Facebook or somethin'.
He had time for a "GOODBYE STEAM LINK FILTER!" side project thingie, also for NFS:Rivals, for Outcome...
Kiwidog said his new VeniceFX featureset will come with VU, so now VeniceFX cinematics people are waiting aswell.
I understand how VU must be just a hog on NF's back, putting pressure on him every time he thinks about it, but if that's the case why wouldn't he get like 10 people to make progress while he attends to other businesses? Once again, there's gotta be at least 10 people with the knowledge from the 10 000 enlisted.

I understand quality is priority, and the only way he could make sure about it is to do it by himself. But it will take YEARS this way. It already took 2.

I don't know crap about code, but if he was to give me a beta client, I would make a checklist and check everything for bugs, crashes, etc. Test custom server stability with people, etc... At least I could do it without that freaking blue tint on.

Bottom line: Closed Beta (f*cking TM) should start in a month or so.

Having other people work on the code is prone to getting scammed (e.g. the code being released to the public, copycat projects starting etc.)

Not to mention that the process of distributing the Closed Beta to the public is just testing how this whole thing works. And if NF is away, and Kiwi is busy with something else, who is to pick the participants? Also, remember, there's ~10k or so who signed up for this. Nobody's given any priority other than the moderators to have 100% granted access to the Closed Beta. So yeah.. as much as we all want it, we're gonna have to wait for it.
