BFBC2 LAN only without internet connection

Hi,

I have a very special issue I guess.

Basically I got how the server works an how clients connect to it.

I want to use the server on a local LAN-party where we do not have an internet connection.

Is it somehow possible for the clients to connect to the Server without communication to the rome-servers?

If not, is it possible to set up an authentication server on my own, running in the LAN only?

I hope someone can help me out.

No, that's not possible with Rome.
