Insane fps drop

Hello people, me and a friend of mine have a little problem with the game.

If we try to check our scores using the TAB button we get an insane FPS drop to about 1-2 fps, it actually occurs on every screen outside the actual 3d world (so not while just playing and shooting people). the length varies from 3-20s.
it even occurs when scrolling through the server list.
It does not occur every single time, but often enough to be annoying.

anyone else having this problem/ know a way to fix this?

ps. I have 12gb of RAM and a good enough CPU/GPU, so the problem isn't in my hardware.

I have the same problem, but for me it only occurs when playing(even more annoying).
Already asked NoFaTe about it, he said it might be caused by the game loading rank icons...

Nothing you can really do about it afaik.

Off-topic: Why do you have 12GB RAM? Doesn't make sense. Either 8 or 16, otherwise DualChannel is disabled.

I had 4 (2x 2gb) and bought 2x 4gb, and just put it in
