Tips for choosing closed beta tester

Tue Jun 25, 2013 10:32 am

As we know that NoFate is choosing closed beta tester after the Alpha stage. When I looked at the enlist page I can see more than 9000 people have enlisted but I am definitely sure that more than half the people doesn't have the original game(legit one).So I recommen you guys to choose tester WHICH have the game.Because if some how a person got chosed but he(she) doesn't have the game and cannot test it and his(her) enlistment will gone to waste

How do you proove that someone does own the game? There is no "Battlelog" or "Origin" account to my knowledge for NoFaTe to check on the enlists, not to mention the possibility for multiple emails... Besides, if he picks people who don't have the game, he could just make it so their "accounts" or whatever we need to log into are deactivated if they don't play the game online for a couple of days. That could also be a potential fix for people who entered and forgot about it since it's been so long

I appreciate your interest in Venice, but don't you think those things have already been taken into consideration? ^^
We know that many people enlisted w/o having the game, that's why the testers will be handpicked.

Simple:

We have the admins/devs and the staff members.
Those get a save place in the Beta.

Then there are the members who the staff members are suggesting.
Those will be preferred in the choice.

Other criterias are: forum activitiy, IRC activitiy (more important), supporting other members (being helpful in general), general behaviour (manners), etc..

Then we have the enlisters. The enlisters will be picked randomly (because of the big amount of them).

When you should receive an e-mail that you have been chosen for participating in the Beta stage our part is done.

YOUR part is to match the requirements: Licensed game.
If your ticket in the Beta is useless because of a unlicensed or cracked game, it's not our fault.

We announced the conditions pretty often till now, now it's your time to follow.

Period.

Understood. I personally do not take great activity in the IRC chat since I barely need support but I'd love to offer it since I do so when necessary on my videos. Anyway, for me, getting chosen in the BETA doesn't really matter. I have Premium so I could wait for the extra features if needed. I just love watching you guys progress to the "next stage" and then the next one, it's so awesome seeing your team and more importantly NoFaTe doing all the work he does to enable all those "hidden" features from us. I am just hoping there's a VOIP without the need of a shitty BL party system but rather in-game *Crossed fingers*

Well, when I got accepted, I didn't even had Bettlefold 3, but when I got it...I just bought the game, to be on the first testing.
