Please Help! Really want to play!

Hey there, so when i login to the nexus server and try to play multiplayer it says the EA servers are down, every time.
did i do something wrong?

And in addition, when i try to play single-player the game crashes in the first intro screen about the japanese scientist.

does anyone have any solutions to these?
I really want to play this game ASAP so quick answers are really appreciated!

If it says that EA servers can not be reached, you either didn't use our client hook (dinput8.dll) or your firewall/antivirus is blocking the connection.

The game is crashing as it enters a server, (The screen where it asks me if i want to join a squad)
and it is crashing at the first single player intro about the japanese scientist.
I have the .dll in place already and changed the DX to 9 in settings.ini
any thoughts?

I believe i got it the game loads and the single player appears to be working
However when i click to open the game it says the nexus BF master server is unreachable and wont let me log into multiplayer. did i do something wrong?

Servers are currently down.

When i try and join a server, it just stays on the loading screen and the circle continues to go around in circles until eventually it basically times out.
any thoughts? youve been really helpful

Maybe Ports not forwarded or antivirus blocking the connection.
