Game Crash

i run the game on laptop to but on windows 7 i think the problem is in the windows 8 cause on desktop computer there is no problem with

Overheating wouldn't cause an application to close. It would either start lagging, or the computer would just turn off (atleast the GPU)
Are you and your friend both using the same anti-virus?

This problem happen to me like 2 or 3 times and the issue like this , When I'm playing on some server the game crash to the Desktop without any windows error rapport or freezing for some seconds [it's more like the process was terminated]
and it happen at the same time for me and my friend (we play together on the same server) we both use windows 8 x64 bits but different hardware so I think the problem more likely a compatibility issue

I'm not wailing here I just wanna rapport the issue

ok do what i say and the problem probably gonna stop:
go to D/ my documents / BFBC2 and open the file settings.ini
there you put dxversion=dx9
i hope that fix your issue!

Is Dxversion=dx9 or Dxversion=9, I have only 9.
Is correct?
