Unable to link origin account

When I try to link my origin account to my emulator nexus account, it says "This Origin account is already linked to another Emulator Nexus account", but i've only just made my first emulator nexus account and as far as I can tell, my origin account hasn't been hacked. Is there some kind of account linking bug????
