So i basicly join a server that in the serverlist says for example 100 ping but when iam actually playing my ping goes higher like 180 or 200 of ping

Is this a problem of the emulator optimization or its just the fult of the server? :?:

Thanks :P

The game has never displayed the correct ping. Not even on original EA servers.

The pings are not as precise as in games like Counter-Strike.

It also depends on the server you´re playing on.

We do not have such a big playerbase like the original service, so there are less servers that are spreaded all over the world.
They´re mostly provided by private people with worse connections than a server provider like i3d got.

We hope to get more players and servers in the future, so there could be one in your region too.

Basically, you can just calculate

*PingShownByGame* - 150 = *RealPing*

The shown pings are just waaay too high.
Some ppl even have an in-game Ping of 450 and aren't lagging at all.

If you want to measure your real ping:

That's not true at all.

Of course, this isn't accurate at all, but it is an approximated rule of thumb as Bettlefold Bed Companion 2 shows just way too high pings.

It might be true on your location, but to me, doing that would make most servers have a negative ping. I guess the only way to really find out the ping of the servers is to ping them yourself.

At first: I'm not talking about the servers, I'm talking about the players.

Ok, I haven't thought about the location... I'm in Germany, and the best Ping I ever achieved was 80(worst was ~500, avg is 200).

The thing is: It's really rare that I see someone having a better Ping than me, so I assumed the high Pings are just normal for BeeCee2.

Additionally: I also play on servers in the US in other games(CeeODee, CStrike, etc.), and there I normally only have a Ping of about 50.

I don't think I have ever had a ping worse than 200 on European servers. Also, I'm from Poland. Given that our countries are right next to each other, there shouldn't be that big a difference between our pings. So I guess it's either ISP-dependent or just plain unpredictable. Either way, it would seem that in-game pings cannot be trusted at all.

Best you can do is to join a server, tab-out, use netstat to find the ip of the server you're playing on and just ping it.
