Local Lan for BF3 - question

Hello,
yes many people ask about an local lan support "add on" for BF3 (me to), why is that so heavy to
greate on
is that not the same way like bbc2
or i am thinking wrong....can someone explain me

So why are you making YET Another post about it. There won't be LAN support, at least not in the beginning. It's planned but it may never happen..

If you want a members only game, then why don't you just run the server with a password?
Then your LAN party can include people that are too lazy to drive to your house.

I think he means set-up a local lan party with everyone running on the same server and in the same place. He did say LOCAL so I guess he wants to do that.

You can do that, technically. However everybody needs to be connected to the backend which is what I guess he doesn't want.

Nah like a real LAN Mode without internet connection. But yeh, that's not gonna be happen soon.

yep, i mean lan support for "home" like BF2 - i don't need any stat or "rank"
love to play BF2 with my Son or friends - test maps/mods and play....
but bf3 is also very nice, graphic und new cool maps....but no lan support (without i-net)...
