First i want say thanks to anyone helped to make this project real .

They dont 'get offline', they crash. Those crashes aren't planned events, but... crashes. They happen randomly and you can't predict them.

The downtime depens on the number of moderators online or the time until NoFaTe notices it (but please don't write him or any other staff member PMs about a restart, rather go to the IRC ).

A reliable way to check wether the server is down or not is to visit this page:

bf/?stats

If there are very few players online, the servers are probably down.

yep the player number most be over 300 players that means the server is ok but if it's less then that then the server is down

Yeah, round about. This also depends on the time.

At 4AM (European time) it's normal if there are only 300 people online.

Actually now averege player online count is 1090 ( thats an astimation I will apologize to all math geniuses out there that say it is not 1090,its 1100 -.-)
