Server Donation To BFBC2 Nexus

Wed Jul 22, 2015 11:26 am

Hi, My name is Daz i live in United Kingdom, I've been playing bfbc2 nexus for some years now and i recently been building a rig of my own servers but with no cause to use them i've been hosting bfbc2 nexus servers with my server but i feel like it's not enough i would like that my servers have some good influence in the nexus i would like to donate my server in a way that all system admins can connect freely and edit anything as they wish use the server maybe as a backup when you're updating the servers.
my server is currently not running as i just got my new server cabinet and i waiting on screws and bolts before being able to mount it with rails also same with my switches not yet fitted waiting on screws and bolts.

I doubt we can accept this offer (for security reasons alone).
Besides, NoFaTe already has one or another server at his disposal.
However once VU goes from Closed to Open Beta, you will be able to use your rig to host VU servers (if they run Windows) ;)

Security is still an issue since the server remains under your control. Please understand that we can't trust "random" people with important things like a server.

Well, he IS the Community Manager and something like Nofate's right-hand man. And I can totally see why NF wouldn't want to use an outside source

Yes i didn't know until just know i speaking with him in the irc, But i'd still like to at least know that NoFate has been notified about this and not just community manager.
