Why not? And the check if you own the game legit is ok. Legal terms are ok (afaik) and avoid kiddys to play the game for free (ok this is a nice side effect)

FFS, It's not about playing for free, IT'S ABOUT PLAYING WITHOUT ANNOYING FEATURES LIKE SUPPRESSION, BLUE TINT(none of you leeches probably don't know what are those), ABLE TO HOST OWN SERVER WITH CUSTOM MODS AND MORE, WHICH ARE NOT POSSIBLE IN THE LEGIT VERSION!! Why don't you get it?

it doesn't exist yet.

Are you able to disable the blue tint in the original ? Are you able to host your own servers in the original ? Are you able to modify the params of the game e.g. Suppression like MAGIC mentioned before ?
Are you able to play on LAN parties eventually (without internet connection) ?

Are you ? If you're able to do so, reply to me with ONE of those features covered by the original game and i didn't say nothing.

But until then.. take it as it comes.
