Masterserver dumps

Seems recently there is an increase in master server dumps. You get kicked from the server, and come here immediately to check stats. Sure enough there are zero connected players. Is this just a bug or is noFate really trying to emulate blaze as best he can?

Blaze is a completely different server. If the BBC2 server crashes, that doesn't have anything to do with Blaze.

Also, afaik NoFaTe is working on both projects simutaneously.

Yes, I know. It was sarcasm. Blaze is infamous for player dumps. My comment was meant like, Is he trying to make the NE server dump as often as Blaze? That kind of thing. One of the things I would prefer not to see emulated.

At any rate, just got dumped again. Came here to see if there was an update. I'm guessing it just gets a bit over loaded or something. Not sure. Server plays fine, then after a while gets kind of laggy. I check my box, and everything seems fine, then a bit later, everyone gets dumped.

No biggie I guess. You seem to be able to get right back on. Just kills me how it seems to always happen right in the middle of a really great match.

well, last night i had 11 kills in a row and when i was about to make 12th, i got dumped by masterserver.

i don't need to tell you how pissed i was since i'm still level 2 and it was my chance to level up and to unlock more stuff.

i whish i get dumped when i suck , not when i'm good

Probably a supid question, but what exactly is 'Plasma' and 'Theatre'?
When I first landed on this page bf/ I tried to click them expecting more info or a spectator mode or something. I'm also not really clear about what exactly the extension system is/what it can be used for? It sounds pretty interesting though!

Plasma handles player stats, Theater handles servers, joinging etc.
With the extension system, you can for example disallow selected weapons, set unlimited ammo etc.
Try downloading the example extension, the code is commented.
