Your post contains my answer. Find it.

If you really want some reasons for doing it manually:

- Manually = Free (That Wisecleaner special offer is an exception)
- You always know exactly what you changed
- You can easily revert it
- You don't risk your system's stability and security
- There aren't any remains when you revert it (Try to uninstall TuneUp and then take a closer look at your registry :lol: )

It doesn't damage your hardware, but you software. It places itself in the registry, changes settings of all kind of programs &&&

It even managed to destroy my bootloader...

All of these cleaners usually make no sense - they don't actually fix errors. They most likely make errors.

Meh. I use these kind of programs when I freshly install the OS, to clean up some stuff and tweak things, that saves me some time. Afterwards I do the manual cleaning.
