It's about time for introduction, I think..

Mon Jul 08, 2013 8:59 am

Greetings, this is MizuDG as you may or may not have heard or seen me on the YouTubes. I have made many posts here on the forums but I never took the time to properly introduce myself as who am I exactly. Well, I am a part-time YouTuber as I already mentioned some of the people on these forums may know, I am also a regular gamer who likes to chill about and play with friends or if anything, at least with smart teammates that improve the game which I am playing at the moment.

I am 17 years old as of the moment of writing this, I have 2 YouTube channels, one of which is for gaming and the other is the infamous "tutorials" channel. You may or may not have seen me on YouTube if you have searched for the words "Emulator Nexus" or "TeknoGods", I have made the most popular tutorials on how to play these, as well as some others on those channels such as "How to host your server" on both TeknoMW3 and NexusBC2. I take a great interest in the work of EmulatorNexus as they are a reminder to why big companies should listen to their community and with the addition of Spectator Mode, removal of blue tint, mods support, our own dedicated servers and much more to come, I am awaiting in huge anticipation of the Venice Unleashed project with hopes that EA would actually take some notice of it and improve their own game, rather than being the bad guys forever and pretending you guys don't exist.

It's great being on the forums and I won't lie here, I kinda got addicted to it, which is also strange, seeing how I registered here mainly to answer some questions regarding Rome problems in the first place but I feel as if I've become rather attached to the people here, especially Svet, Robbing and a little bit of Kerrigan :) You guys do a great job at moderating the forums and I'd love to finally see you online on Battlelog for once :(
Anyway, that about does my intro. Hope you guys will "welcome" me after such a long time with knowing much about me in the first place  See you all around 8-)

Look me up on Battlelog since I can't link it due to word censor  - MizuFTW
Or at Steam where I spend most of my time being online

Hey there Mizu,

First of all, I'd like to welcome you to Emulator Nexus and thank you for your TeknoGods tutorials as I have found them very useful in the past. I also hope that your thoughts and anticipations are satisfied with the release of VU! If you ever need help with anything, just let the staff know, and we would be more than happy to help you out!

Good luck and have fun,

Been there, done that really ;)

I've been in contact with EmulatorNexus pretty much from the start of its popularity dating all the way back to Domo, Wozniak and Timse sharing a TeamSpeak room with me :D Now that I think about it, it was an honor to be among those 3 and NoFaTe would be in another room from time to time later on. The asking for help stuff has happened in the past, Timse helped me with the BC2CC and PRoCon tutorials a bit by telling me their names most important of all and how to set it up initially. I am glad I am part of the community of EN and to be honest, this is my first forum that I visit daily and try to participate in as many topics as I can, mostly because I like it and I am generally not that kind of person to begin with. The release of Venice Unleashed's beta has been in my mind for very long and I gotta say only one thing - Damn, you guys rock. From the moment Tim told me about the enlistment for the Closed Beta and me going on the enlistment page, I was nothing but stunned to find out all the stuff that was removed from the game and the possibility for the removal of blue tint which became obsolete in the current version with PunkBuster banning people who use Color Correct, I can only wish you the best of luck and to hopefully teach THEM a lesson of how to listen to the community, something that EA hasn't been doing since they got so many money cows on their hands. But I am getting ahead of myself. Good luck with the development and thanks for the heads up, will definitely ask if needed 8-)
