Apparently there is a typo in the settings.ini for the game where it says "VoipRecieveVolume=0.500000".
It should be receive not recieve. Can people see if correcting this works for them ?
Everyone playing must have fixed this to receive the voice chat.

Voice chat works normally for me, I even hear people talking from time to time... dunno what you're talking about.

This is nothing new, though I never knew if it really worked.

Sometimes you can hear a bit of voice in the game. But it's normally gone as fast as it appeared..
Honestly: I'm glad that the voice chat is NOT working. Flaming kids and raging people would spoil the game for me..

But i think you can switch voice chat off in options menu

. It can be useful to people playing in groups with friends.

Kerrigan, in-game Voice-chat is much more useful for screaming into someone's ears and then never having to deal with him again. Trust me, I come from the origin of it.

True.
But he was referring to playing with friends and talking to them.

Ok it's a old post but as i do not have any battlefriends (everyone here just plays CS all the time.) , never used my Ultra fast brain to know all those voice chat things.
