Hello all. I'm a big fan of bfbc2 and I recently stumbled across this place, I'm kinda confused as to why I would want to use ROME instead of my vanilla bfbc2. From what I've read all it does is add mod support. Does it do anything else? I'm not trying to belittle the idea or anything but so far I don't see much appeal to it if all it does is add mod support, well unless there are some really awesome game changing mods that I don't know about.

Mods; no 3rd party server hoster required; Uhh did i mention it also awesome?

Mod Support, hosting your own server and tweaking it any way you want, better community (mostly). Apart from all of this, it's still the "vanilla" version. There are no changes done to the game itself so yeah, feel free to test out those things above yourself and judge on that.

I think I'll make the switch, just a couple more questions.
1. Will I be able to play any of the dlc?
2. Will I have to unlock all the guns again?
