Just saying a 'hi' and a small question

Thu Jan 02, 2014 8:03 pm

Hi All and HNY ;)

Rome project fan here, I've just tested BFBC2 with Nexus client and it works flawlessly, keep up the good work :) It would be awesome if this would also be possible for later versions of BF series, but if not, this is already a great achievement and milestone!

A tiny question:
When I've tested BFBC2, all ports were forwarded to my comp on my home LAN so I din't met any problem but it can happen sometimes that you have to go without all the ports forwarded. My question would be that are there any special ports the client needs to be forwarded or it's enough if I make sure that all the ports needed for the game itself are forwarded ?

Lookin forward to play BF 3/4 on Nexus once, cheerz :D

Ok I'm just kidding, seriously, all of your efforts are honestly appreciated, it couldn't be easy to achieve this.

yah forwarding all ports is a bad idea... & can open up security vulnerabilities in your system/network

Yea I know, nothing's secure in our world nowadays ;) And what you guys din't know yet that I even completely bypass my router from time to time and connect directly to my ISP :D

No worries though, I have a pretty strong 2nd line of defence inside my comp that consists of multiple software tools.
