Currently the UI is dark and transparent on top of a dark fully animated background, making it extremely hard to read (especially for color blind users), the server browser being the biggest culprit.

A light UI on top of the dark background would be far easier to read and use, with clear element boxes and low transparency (90%-95% opacity would likely be optimal)

Since build 8054, the main menu uses a light-colored style for elements.
There are still some visibility issues in some spots, where the background is also light, but those will be resolved soon.
