heh, What's funny is DICE LA and Battlefield 4 have done the exact same thing, as they had almost 100% of the issues that we had in increasing VU's simulation rate. I even sent them an email :P

BUT, unlike Battlefield 4, Battlefield 3 is strictly Single Threaded, so BF4 handling higher simulation rates *may* be able to handle things better depending on how it is coded, also they have the source code so they can add multi-threading somewhat easily. In the case of VU, we are stuck with the original design plans.

So sendrate and simrate all 120 hz, that is cool.
A cool thing was that a week after this release, CTE got this as well ;)

So what will the codename for BF4 be when NoFate completes Venice Unleashed? :)

If we can start porting stuff from BF4 over to BF3, there would be no point in BF4.

31 new maps and the SRAW tweaked to AT4 BC2 handling, nothing more is needed! :)

I guess you are talking about bf4 and bf3 servers?
