The moment I click launch, a black window appears for a few moments before windows reporting that the "the program has stopped working"
BF3 vanilla works fine, as well as bf4. Would appreciate a fix

Hello. I just downloaded and attempted to run this program. After clearing virus stuff blah blah it was ready to launch.
The moment I click launch, a black window appears for a few moments before windows reporting that the "the program has stopped working"

I hope this works for you, I had the same problem.
1-Go to documents
2-Go find the Battlefield 3 folder and open it
3-Click the folder settings under Screenshots
4-Look for the file called PROF_SAVE_body ----------------------------->IF THIS FILE HAS NOTHING ON IT (NO WRITING) THEN DELETE IT
5-Launch Venice Unleashed and it should no longer crash at start up.
