Installation of vu error

After I have downloaded the installer and installed the files aand I try and run the vu.exe it just disaperas and doesn't come back, and I have a legit copy of bf3 and I have also linked my origin account to this account. Halp

BTW I do not have integrated grahpics and I have ran bf3 before with origin

have you started Battlfield at least once trough Origin/Battlelog?

I'm having a similar issue, except it involves even getting the vu.exe to download. It says I need permission but I've looked through all of it and there seems to be not a single fix to this issue. Any ideas? Is there a place I can download vu.exe by itself?
