When i try to validate bf3 (step 2. 5. Activate your game (see below)) the app crashes (tried to do with vu.exe but it only opens vu normaly, like if im going to play and when i try with command promt cmd just crashes. I put the vu files on the same folder has bf3 and tried on a bf3 subfolder, nothing of that works.

Any solutions?

Did you open up the CMD inside the folder (Ctrl+Rightclick)?
If yes you can use vu.com -activate -o_mail <your_origin_email> -o_pass <your_origin_password> to activate your game.

I tried and having the the file name extensions activated doesnt change anything.

EDIT: Now when i try to open vu (to play) it crashes too!! I downloaded again but still crashes, what have i done!!

I had a similar problem, but when your vu.exe starts normally your games should be activated.
Mine wasn't activated so vu.exe showed the EA GUI to activate the game.

EDIT:
Try to delete your license (under C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EA Services\License) and activate the game via origin (like you would when you play the vanilla game).

Now game works, but command promt still crashing.

If vu can launch as client your game is activated and you can continue the installation of your server.

I think all it's ok now, i'll wait untill they gives server.key files! Thank you all!

Anyone knows when the key files will be released?

There is no need for server keys for now since this is just a "bughunting season". Hosting our own servers and proper mods will be in the Open Beta soon™

You say no but the vu says i need one, whom should I believe? XD
