when I join a server it keeps saying that the game is loading but there is no end to it
what to do ?

Was about to create a thread about this same issue.
Is the problem on our end?

same here, i have problems loading the map, and my friend can't even start the client

Same here, and according to task manager, my hdd isn't even being used.
Edit: Launching game and joining a server once fixed it.

You only have to do it once in order to 'activate' your license. Then you can startup VU and play the mod

I have the same problem with some of the DLC maps: for example, I can play Wake Island but I can't play Ziba Tower. All vanilla maps run well.

that means you have the other DLCs not installed.
You can only play the maps you have installed, joining a server running a map you don't have installed results in a blackscreen
