Hacker report

I kid you not.... I was just on a server with a hacker who chose the name "Dicksucker".

Well beyond the name being a bit weird (unless he's 8-10 years old) the hacker in question with was aim-botting the living shit out of the opposing team. Considering that this was my first experience with VU, I must say that I'm extremely disappointed.

If VU is expecting to be taken seriously and have a future, then these exploits and those that abuse them must be dealt with harshly / swiftly.

Side note: Mr. "Dicksucker" wasn't the only hacker there but he was the most vocal / abusive of those present.

Cheers,

Resin

Well but it's not the high priority. Besides, all server is unranked...

Unranked or not, whats the point in playing VU if the majority if players you'll face online are hacking?

Here i thought the point of VC was to allow compedative play without the restrictions imposed by EA. Guess i was wrong to assume that anyone would really want a hack-free compedative environment.

IMO this is the biggest single issue for online gaming of all types.

Just calm down, we're still in beta. And the full version of VU will have anticheat of course. I don't really care about hackers, because i'm so excited about the mod...

I'll just leave this uncommented.

Focus of bughunting season is not to provide a full gaming experience but - obviously - to find and fix bugs. Nothing else right now.

#ok

Also, forum staff can't do shit about 'hackers' (The right term is cheater), better report them to the server owners

Ok, that I can understand. I just hope that the hackers don't already have the leg up on the community.
