I'm having an issue with VU on BF3.
I'm using a laptop with an integrated and dedicated graphics card, when i play BF3 without VU it runs smooth on dedicated with no problems, however when i run VU, the application only runs on the integrated graphics, when i change the settings (Nvidia Control Panel) to run on the dedicated GPU it crashes on the beginning (loading screen, before the login part), gives the error:

DirectX Error:
DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DRIVER_INTERNAL_ERROR: An error occurred.. GPU: "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M ", Driver: Unknown

Can anyone help me?

Battlefield 3 runs successfully via Origin.
Laptop running Win7 with Integrated and Dedicated Graphics Card (GTX 970M)
Anti-Virus - Disabled
Account is linked successfully as i can get into servers running with integrated card (but suffer with 18FPS max).
I have tried all the troubleshooting tips with no luck.

kiwidog posted a suggestion on the other thread. Apparently it didn't work for the other guy, but it seems likely it should, so give it a go and drop by again to tell us what happened.
