Hi,
i finnally got VU running but i'm still hitting an issue:
i'm running on laptop right now, then with intel hd graphics + gtx 960.

then there is also Nvidia optimus right here.
The problem is when i launch VU normally, i get around 30 fps max, coresponding to intel hd performances.

when i force gtx 960 in app startup: http://nsa37.casimages.com/img/2015/12/ ... 814232.jpg
i get this error soo after launch

Any thought about this?

NB: vanilla game working fine at 160fps or around on same settings

Hi,
you can be sure i tried everything from this topic ;)
but still get same issue

when its launched without any modification it uses the integrated graphics.
When i force the use of the 960 i get this error message.

Windows 7 is fully updated and the patch required is installed too

Same problem here!
On origin the games runs smooth with dedicated GPU, but VU only launches with Intel HD with very low FPS and gives the same error when i try to use Dedicated GPU (GTX 970M).

The ONLY workaround is to disable Optimus in your bios, your scaling may get scaled up to 125% for whatever reason, but you can change that.

Inside of your NVIDIA Control Panel, there should be an option for Manage 3d Settings (or something around the likes) where you can set driver-side settings per game. Make sure that it is set to NVIDIA Card, not auto-select or Intel Integrated.

I have the same problem too! Can't run VU on nvidia 840m.
Aslo tried to run vanila bf3 in directx10, hoping it will fix the problem, by typing "renderdevice dx11enable 0" in game console, even used bf3 settings editor, but when i run bf3 from origin, my msi afterburner stil shows me that game is running in directx11. Whatever, i tried again to run venice client with dedicated gpu but same error...
