Yo, even its open beta, anyone has faced problems like when I join a server it shows up loading screen and then gets back to main menu without any error?

Might happen if you're trying to join a server running a premium map when you don't own the map.

Happens to me. No matter if it's 60 or 120, every server I tried to connect, was loading for 4-5s, then blackscreen with movable cursor appeared for 1-3s, and then it was back to VU main menu. VU in firewall exceptions, i have premium.

Dunno where is the problem, might be connection, cuz I was joining grand bazaar and my acc have premium stat also... Confusing, wont close this thread if smbd will find the solution, ofc maybe the server ports are crashing.

This primarily happens when you cannot make a successfull connection to the server. Ensure vu.exe is allowed through the firewall or ports 7948 and 25200 (UDP) are available for outgoing connections (ensure that the firewall isn't blocking the request)

Didn't help unfortunately.

vu.exe added to in/out firewall rules, both ports added to out rules as well. Still getting back to main menu.

Recorded how connecting to server looks, dunno if it helps, but I'm kinda desperate (is there a way to force vu to show messages, debug mode or smth?)

EDIT: I've added both ports to router firewall as well, no change
EDIT2: Deleting bf3 folder from My Documents and repairing bf3 via origin didn't help
EDIT3: Disabling windows firewall didn't help
EDIT4: Compared folder structure with someone who has VU working, I was missing vu-base folder in vu/mods folder, and ui.vuic file (55KB) inside vu-base. I copied these from friend , but it didn't help as well
EDIT5: I've registered new VU account and linked it to another origin account of mine. No change.

i can confirm i have the same issue , previously it was giving me a "Connection Dropped" error but now it just goes to main menu with no errors
