I was thinking the same thing. For the announced release day, and only 3 threads with new posts, seems strange. There are almost 500 playing Rome atm though, and that is a good thing.

So, the twitter page says that the close beta is live and the forum has turned into a desert.

The Closed Beta has started with some difficulties. We ran into some issues and NoFaTe and kiwidog are fixing several bugs we already found since Saturday night.

This is why the majority of the players are still excluded from participating. At the moment the backend is available plus one game server for testing purposes. When the next update is being pushed it is most likely that more players will be allowed to join the Beta.

You can't play yet because playing in this state would be frustrating for you as the testers.

We will keep you up-to-date and please remain patient like you did before.

Its understandable if the closed beta has problems. Its called closed beta for the same purpose. The important thing is keeping everyone updated Now that I know what's going on, I can rest peacefully for at least some time without infinitely searching everywhere in hope of finding something
