Okay, what will get you banned is disrespecting the staff and name-calling. Why not just be friendly everyone? Also, glad that Kerrigan and others were able to figure out the special date!

Tomorrow we'll have the official confirmation then. It is good to see the creators posting here, so we know the project is still alive.

And the features of VU will probably bring a breath of life to the game again. 8-)

So the VU Closed Beta will start at 10/10/14 :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

I got two questions

1. Will there be a possibility to register for the closed beta? I missed my chance register for the beta :cry: :cry: :cry:
2. Will VU support offline LAN sessions?

Greetings from Germany

We would like to thank everyone who participate and congratulate you for solving this two days prior to its end.

Click here to read the full announcement.

For those who missed it, here's a complete breakdown of what this meant:

Each glyph has a 'name'. Taking the name of each red (final) glyph gives us the following:
D18
D55
M44
M2
Y8
Y6

Looking at that sequence, one can deduct that it represents a date (from the DDMMYY initials).

Taking the number from each name (18, 55, 44, 2, 8, 6), we iteratively add its digits:
18 => 1 + 8 = 9
55 => 5 + 5 = 10 => 1 + 0 = 1
44 => 4 + 4 = 8
2 => 2
8 => 8
6 => 6

Finally, adding the days with the days, the months with the months, and the years with the years gives us the final date:
10/10/14
