i have the game on cd
is there in update should i download and from where

There should be an updater in your game directory. Just launch it and the game will update. It will take some time since the update is rather big.

Install the game.
Update it.
Put nexusBF dinput8.dll in game folder.
Launch.
Wait.
Login.
Server browser.
Click search.
