The game is lagging/disconnecting

Hello
Since the 1st of July I've been having problems with lagging and disconnecting while playing BC2. The problem is that when I start up the game and join the server it works fine for a few minutes, then it starts lagging to the point that it's unplayable, no matter on which server I'm on. I was wondering if my internet connection was the problem but it turns out it's not and all other internet games and apps that I use work normaly. So I was wondering if anyone else experienced that problem or if the Project Rome servers are the issue.
