HOST SERVER PROBLEM

Good morning people,

i'm having troubles hosting the rome server, i've followed the proper instructions of how has to be done and i'm getting one error once i open the startserver.bat, it says restarting after 5 seconds, it tries to open up the "console" but shutts down at the moment, and it's forever restarting the server after 5 seconds, it seems it doesn't recognice the proper root to Access to the folder where the other files are. Which is the problem? Thx in advance and please forgive me if i didn't paid attention to read more threads about hosting to get the correct information, i only find one.

Can you post the most recent RuntimeLog_XXX.log, which is in the instances\bc2 folder in [code][/code] tags please? Looks like you are using some port which is blocked or so

You are missing the ProviderId.dat file. Too bad I can't upload it for you, since it's not allowed to share gamefiles.

Hey, i've just run the server, but i would like to know the server vars in order to modify the rules of the server, and in which file do i need to place them. Another question would be which ip i need to put on ProCON and server port in order to enable the rcon, i've used 127.0.0.1:48888 is that correct? Thank you!

It is german but imo it is useful. I think they are documented in the rcon docs as well, but I don't have a link right now.

Thank you both guys, but i need to know where do i have to place those vars, in startup? in server options? it seems it doesn't change the server name, and i have put vars.serverName "xxx" but nothing happens, it still keeps the old name, do you know anything about this?
