BATTLEFIELD BAD COMPANY 2 Not working

I downloaded patch BFBC2_PC_Client_R11_795745_Patch and installed it , after that i placed the dinput8.dll file and tried to open the game it gives me this error "failed to initialize the project rome client unknown client/server detected" but when i close the msgbox it opens the game and telling me to type the key to play the game what key do i need to type ?

same here. error: 'failed to initialize the project rome client unknown client/server detected' and then game starts but with no VIETNAM tag. it was working fine 2 days ago but i just formatted my pc and then this error.. please somebody help
