connection issue

hello guys, I wanted to play some BFBC2 for old times sake but I'm having difficulties with the nexus emulator...when I try to login it says "cannot connect to nexusbf master server". what could be the problem?? (i have already allowed BFBC2 to go through firewall and made an exlusion on nod32)
or is the master server currently down??
