soo,i just reinstalled my OS to win8,when im trying to patch , i can't change the destination folder,any help?

Windows OS doesn't really matter. I don't get how you patch your game since you should be patching it from the BFBC2Updater, which will download the updates in your game folder if the game's installed.

Don't know much but try to install with administrator rights or else it won't work. Also, if you are not able to change the destination folder, try to install in default location and then copy whole game folder to the folder you want (No idea if that would work)
@mizu, Using bc2 updater is not compulsory. You can download the patch manually and keep the exe, to avoid downloading patch, the next time you reinstall the game.

Pretty sure he is using some modded 3rd party client.

To OP: buy the game and you won't get any problems

That's where you define the game path, on "Install Dir" key (just edit that key to the correct path).

i did that and when installing the r11 patch i cant change the destination folder

Do what Paulofonta said, it enables you to move the game.
