BFBC2 win 8

Hi guys I've got windows 8 on MSI GX70 and when I downloaded and installed the BFBC2 with noSTEAM (BFBC2-MP_update_0.866_nosTEAM) and I downloaded the rome dimput8.dll (the newest 870) the game gives me that "Failed to initialize the Project Rome Client. Unknown client/server detected! Please verify the integrity of your files and try again." However I can run the game but, it wants EA account from me. I saved the dimput8.dll into the very same section as the game is installed in (C/ pf(x86)/ Elect. arts/ Battlef...) I have totally no idea what I can do... Any help someone? Thanks a lot!
