Game crashes when you are in-game or when you start the game?
Uninstal the game then install it, run the BFBC2 Updater, put the latest hook in BFBC2 folder and try to run it, if you get the same error...then I don't know what cause that error.

Thanks for your feedback.
The crash happens ingame and the game just quits to desktop without warning whatsoever.
I tried reinstalling and updating using the latest 2.4GB patch but that did not help.
My system is very recent and no bloatware or conflicting apps installed.
Maybe developers can help ? I can provide a dump file with the list of modules, bug check code and address of exception.
Regards.

Sounds like a defect RAM module (but could just as well be your HDD, CPU, GPU or Mainboard). Does it happen with other "big" games as well?
You should try running memtest86+

Hello,
RAMs are fine, all 4 modules were tested with MemTest86+ before installation : Kingston HyperX PC12800 CL9.
SSD is less than a Month old and no Bad Sectors whatsoever also performance is above 99% of market SSDs
http://gyazo.com/4db3da00e09db3640ef33d55ee61e954.pngI am playing BF4 SP and never experienced this issue.
I can provide you with any symptom you might need to analyse if you're willing to help.
We are also hosting servers ( RepZ ) on BC2 and MW2 if that helps.

Well I've never seen this problem (neither am I a developer), but I'd do it the try 'n' error way.
If you have physical access to your server, run it with minimal equipment (only 1 RAM module etc.) and a fresh OS (if possible), then do a clean install of all required programs (like the VC++ redistributables) and see what happpens.
If that doesn't help, you'll maybe have to exchange some parts to see what causes the error.

Hello Robin,
I think you misunderstood me; The PC crashing is my system not the server. Servers are working fine. I have googled this issue and looks like it's more common then what I've thought.
Many players reported game exiting to desktop without leaving any trace or warning but I had to post it. I also develop but it's not my main stature. I've spent around 16 years working with Networks and Security.
I do not have the source code of the DINPUT8 file nor want to but I can guarantee you that my system has no HW issue.
SFC found no integrity violation and Driver Verifier by Microsoft detected one dll causing too much ISR and high DPC count but isolating it did not help.
Code c0000005 should give a hint but I am not into development as mentioned.
The only thing that worked is forcing the game to use DX9 instead of DX11
Some people with same issue :

Might be that this isn't your client but the game in general or the drivers supplied by Nvidia as all affected users seem to have this issue.
That's unfortunate.

In your report I saw something about module DINTPUT8.dll, and you said that the only solution was setting dx to 9.
I don't know, this is very odd, I've also searched on internet about this problem and the interesting thing is that this problem occured also on the original game ( I mean without our hook) so this isn't a conflict caused by EN hook. Very strange...

Right, forgot that it was your PC...
Well, 16 years of experience is a ton more than I have, and as I already mentioned, I'm not a developer of Nexus.
I guess the problem is so specific and rare that only NoFaTe (or someone really savvy with such problems) can help you.

IA64, under what circumstances does the game crash?
Moreover, if you are able to generate a crash dump I might be able to debug the issue in order to figure out what's causing it.
