hi i am new to this,the thing is i used to be able to play battlefield on pings as high as above 200,recently i started getting disconnecting from the servers(at pings below 160) and then i lose connection from the project rome server altogether,then after logging in again i am unable to connect to 'any' server,this has been a problem for a few days,and it had to happen only when i started catching up to the game,comments would be appreciated

Sounds like a problem with your Internet connection are you possibly on 3G and/or a different form of cellular internet connection?

Is your router a D-link? if so Google the model and see if it has a packet dropping issue (happened to me).


Last but not least check your AV/Firewall and/or other security measures you may have in place & see if there interfering with Rome. (read Rome FAQ #2)


I also suggest in the future you post tech support questions in the corresponding sub-forum.

If the above fails; wait for a tech support member to provide further support.

its not regular..it fixes by itself when i restart the game(or in some cases my pc),and then happens again...it has been happening since i set the direct x version of the game to 9 to get better fps..and i have a broadband connection
