I was in a bfbc2 server and when i killed someone it said my name then killed whoever then the gun i used , it also said join us on our teamspeak server so forth , visit us on our website blah blah , but it said it was was from the server, and it had the shit scrolling in the left side . Is that with b3 bot or editing files ?

I tried doing like pb_sv file stuff and it wont scroll when we join the server so i am wondering how to get rules to scroll , and how to get like mod or something to scroll peoples kills and gun they used? what am i doing wrong cause every single file i seem to edit does nothing and wont scroll a dang thing int he chat. what do i need to add , use ,or do to get this to work . more or less rulls to scroll in chat

on BC2CC you can make a ruleset that cycles through.
normally you see whom you kill in the middle of the screen + your own weapon, if it was up in the chat bar as well it must have been a plugin (or maybe you can set that with Procon, idk)

I have tried the procon tool but it seems to reset when i shut it down. is there files that get saved somewhere that i can edit or place into our bfbc2 server files . so forth im used to cod server files and this stuff seems way different this is why i need little help or video not in German lol that i can understand what the heck im doing.

i think i figured it out , i dont think i can have b3 bot running at same time . i am using the bc2cc program and when i right click the server and save startup it doesnt save nothing . all the settings i put startup file in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Battlefield Bad Company 2\Instance\AdminScripts but then i start server and hardcore is off so on so forth and its like none of the settings i set up work.

I try and save the map list and it wont save nothing pops up int he middle top saying save , im little stumped right now lol.

IS there a place to get a good startup file ? this is what mine saves as when i use the bc2cc program with the password **** out



Those are the wrong settings but every time i save the startup file from bc2cc it looks just like this. am i doing something wrong?

I'm new to bfbc2 as well, but our server runs on a dedicated server, so it's never shut down.

for your hardcore startup to work I think you need to have it like this. (I don't know if you can host hardcore with minimap/spotting and stuff, but normally it's set like this, I think that's why it doesn't start as hardcore)

I'm not sure about the friendly fire, the bc2cc says "disabled" in hardcore, but I think it's the other way around. just test it.

the maplist creation is a bit user unfriendly
how to create one.

1. click your desired game mode
2. add the maps & number of rounds
3. add a name to the preset and click +
4. now click save in the lower right.

if you want to change the maplist to a different one, load the desired maplist and press Save.
