Bug, help

So i keep getting the lost connection to the main sever msg, even though i was playing fine until last week.
The only thing different is that im now lvl 27.
After trying literally all, (router changes, firewall exceptions, reinstall the game, etc), i tried creating a new soldier.
And that worked(NOT ANYMORE, IM STILL GETTING THIS DISCONNECTED MSG)... but now i dont have my precious SVU short.. and neither the scar
Is there any way to lock my soldier at lvl 25?, so i can keep using it...
