Servername problem

Sat Oct 05, 2013 3:42 pm

Weird problem. I have setup servers in the past using the same procedure with no problems. Windows 2008 Web. Upon launching and having set all the info correct in ServerOptions and Startup. The game will grab the actual server name and not the game name assigned as per ServerOptions! Tried different things but no luck. Not sure if Windows 2008 web is doing something or what is going on. Anybody else with similar problems or know what it is?

Does the ~StartServer.bat define the Instance directory?
I think you can also use the Startup.txt to set your server's name.

Ah yes of course. I missed out the obvious. I had copied the file from a backup where the directory path was wrong. All sorted now. Thanks for the feedback as it got me back on track. Silly mistake having done this so many times. Guess too quick can be sloppy :).

On another note, noticed I am getting (some entries) Lost:0 Bad frames:1, read from the console. Not sure if this means anything or I can ignore.
