help?

i just installed bfbc2 and i got an error "Failed to initialize the project Rome client unknown client/server detected ! Please verify the integrity of your files and try again."

Check the following:
Did you install the latest client patch R11 ?
Did you replace the original BFBC2Game.exe with a crack ?
If yes, don't do so.

i replaced it with the crack already though is that bad?

Yes. The file is different from the original exe.
Reinstall the game.
Patch it to R11 instead.
