hi when i go to apply the patch to my game i get this http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/7376/bbc2.jpg can some one please let me where im going wrong thanks

*edit: im using the steam downloaded version of the game ,should i be using a different version from a scene releaser like reloaded etc .. ?

The updater is trying to find the location of game executable in the system registry, but the registry entry is created during installation.

If you haven't installed the game using installer, or if you moved the game after installing, the patch will not work. Also, if you did system reinstall earlier, the registry data was wiped out. You can still play the game, but you can't update it.

Reinstall the game and see if the problem occurs again.

If you know what you're doing, you can also just inject the registry entry on

I believe the key you need is "Install Dir"

The Updater uses the



Registry Entry.

That's a 32-bit operating system registry key.
On a 64-bit operating system, the key is

Anyway, downloading your registry key and modifying it with the right paths will do it (use some text editor to edit .reg files)

tHE Game shold work dosent matter wher u mouve it ... i moved my game dont know 10 times by now .. and dosent have eny problem and remade windows 2 times ... ... the problem is with the steam version . i recomend skydrow or reloaded... hope it hellped

The game works even without any registry key. It's just the patch that doesn't. You can't apply that 2,5GB patch if you don't have an instal dir defined on the registry. Because the patcher won't know where to dump the game files.
Simple as that.
