Reserved slots

Sun Mar 24, 2013 2:24 am

Can't seem to find the answer I am looking for in the search, so I will have to ask here.

Does the reserved slots work in the EN version? I have myself in the reserved list, but still can not join my server when it is full. I can't kick anyone remotely, because Procon does not work entirely with EN version of BC2.

Any ideas?

I've been using procon frostbite except its reserved slot functionality and works absolutely fine with EN so I'm not sure if that feature works as it should but anyway I think the idea behind that is if you make some number of slots reserved, server will always hold that number of slots empty unless somebody on the reserved list joins

I haven't used reserved slots on EN, but on EA servers it tends to kick players whenever someone with reserved slot joins. To make matters worse, it kicks the player who has been one the server for the longest amount of time.

Hello, sorry for my bad English. Could you please help me. How to set up reserve slots on the server BFBC2?

Go to the folder "Instance", open reservedslotslist.txt.

I've tried it, did not work. Maybe not so written, there are certain rules of writing? just a nickname on a new line and everything, or anything else you want? and you have it working?

Hm, I haven't tried it on my own server... Try ProCon instead.

I tried to ProCon, but nothing worked, so I'm here and I write in the hope that somebody may even through something it did)
