In the game under settings go to video settings and switch to advanced settings, then go into documents, BFBC2 and open settings.ini, inside change Bloom=true to Bloom=false, and you're done.
(Not my post i just got this from a Help me post and decided it is best to put it here so it is more visible to other ppl with the same problem!)

How should this be more visible to other people? As you said, no one will browse the forum for old posts, and if you enter "black screen" into the search, you'll find the right post either way.

Just close it then.
