Servername= My own PC name

Wed Jan 07, 2015 4:01 pm

Hi guys, i've got this problem, do you know how can i fix this? I have changed the folder of "instances" into instance and nothing happens, i don't know how to change the server name, and how to put password, in the server.

Another question i have is how to configure the Procon in order to tweak the configurations i need and which ip should i put in Procon that recognizes me the server.

Thank you in advance.

Why would you change the name of the instances folder? You are supposed to change the subfolders of instances\ to e.g. bc2 or bcsqdm oder something like that to recognise which servers are using which instances folder. Also check the 'ServerOptions.ini' for some options

To connect to ProCon you should use your external IP: http://myip.is/

Thank you for your response, but changing the instance folder name was something i saw on the forums because someone was having the same issue as me, and i wanted to change the server name, i have put the external ip adress, but it keeps trying to connect to the server but nothing happens after that, i have opened all the ports, 19567, 48888 and the others that now i don't remember, should i modify something in any file of the server folder? i have set an admin password as well and it is the one i have used to login in to the ProCOn.

I have watched that many users on the internet (on YouTube) has a some kind of config file on the main root of "bin" folder, do i need to place that in the folder to place the ip or anything?

Thank you so much!
