Help pls random crashes and failed soldier logins

sorry if this was already asked
Today I downloaded the latest Rome Client(914) because my was outdated I put it in the game directory where BFBC2 is located
the game started as allways.
But now i have som problems
1. my soldiers can´t be loaded its says: Failed to login soldier I don´t know if it matters but the name of the soldier is written with capital letters
2.random crashes:the game crashes at random points or kicks me out off the server and it says check your connection (my connection is stable no problems with it)so i don´t understand why it does so

I´m thankfull for every advice too help fix this problem

Try the usual fix, please: delete the file "GameSettings.bin" in Documents/BFBC2.

We thought about it and yes, deleting the GameSettings.bin should do the trick.

Since some soldiers had invalid characters e.g. Cyrillic letters, special characters, etc. an automatic renaming has been enabled for those names. When you try to login the client will try to synchronize a soldier name which doesn't exist anymore in the database (since it has been renamed).

Delete the GameSettings.bin for a clean sync with the database and your new soldier name will be provided and stored in your new GameSettings.bin.

From then there shouldn't be any synchronizing mismatches anymore.

I deleted the file started the game but still the soldier with the capital letters name is still failing to load and when i try to delet that soldier it does nothing only freezes the game
oh and one more question:I can not use the SA weapons and gadgets in badcompany but in vietnam is everything working is it supposed to be so?

Then the issue is server sided. The servers are still buggy and NoFaTe tries his best to fix every issue we know about.

The Plasma server is leaking memory for now and NoFaTe is still looking into it.

ok thx for the answer i hope you guys fix it as soon as possible
oh and one more thing i checked my soldier with the capital letters he has now the number 3 after it and i can login on it so you definitely doing it right

It means that your soldier has been renamed while the server migration progress.

Soon you will be able to rename the soldier again.

thats good when i can rename him but the lack of the gadgets and SA guns on the server is bothering me the most
