Lost all weapons and Gadgets

I lost all the guns and gadgets that i have earned in BF2, even though i didn't lose my stats. I am still level 24 in the game but when i enter a match i can't choose any of the weapons or gadgets. Is there a solution to this problem or i don't have a choice but to delete this character and start from scratch ?

Delete the gamecache (GameSettings.bin in Documents/BFBC2)

Play one Full round.

This happened to me many times, but i just seleceted another server and everything went on fine.

So Perhaps its that particular server that has a error? can you elaborate?

All I know is that it happens randomly and that it's a server sided bug where it wouldn't unlock weapons for anyone but they could still gain experience points. The problem is usually solved by restarting the dedicated server.
